Finally!
Is there a mix of male and female voices or just male voices for now?
It has both male and female voices, but you can only use a single voice for a book
Thabk is for the response! I was looking at fine tuned models and see mainly male voices, is there a way to get other voices too?
Yup, it comes with a number of trained models, and you can use custom models as well.
Thanks! I’m not sure if you’ve come across this but I get a ‘conversion cancelled’ error with certain voice models like Morgan Freeman but STD and David Attenborough seem to work. The error is very vague so not sure how to troubleshoot it. Wanted to see if you had any insight into it. I am running it on T4 GPU on my huggingface account.
Yeah, I’ve run into that too. Not really sure what’s causing that. Might be worth opening an issue to see if the author might have some insights.

Uh huh, yep. Also, will definitely not be putting any audiobook readers out of a job.
Any time you need to remind users to “use this tool responsibly”, you know very well that’s not going to happen.
Ive used it and love it. I convert PDFs I read for work to ebooks and then audiobooks. Then I listen to the content at the gym and count it as work hours :)
Nothing beats a good narrator, there will always be a place for performance and folly noise. This is a useful tool for the content you have to consume
For sure, and the results are surprisingly good I find. It has some quirks, but overall it’s a pretty decent narration.
