4710·10 days agoI notice nobody has commented on the fact that the driver should’ve reacted to the deer. It’s not Tesla’s responsibility to emergency brake, even if that is a feature in the system. Drivers are responsible for their vehicle’s movements at the end of the day.

They do have the phone number on record, so I guess that’s what they did. More likely though they didn’t even check. They made no ticket either, just reset it in the course of an around 3 minute call.
I had to ask a helpdesk for a 2fa reset once. Intrestingly, they didn’t make me identify myself except for first and last name. Not sure what point the 2FA has if it’s that easy to remove.

Gnome devs are UX design geniuses. They made a desktop environment that is highly suitable for both touch and desktop usage (Windows wasn’t successful with that goal). It’s also beginner-friendly without being cartoonish like Windows XP.
