If I can pump out fake flood pictures, I can convince a couple million Americans that none of the flood images are real. That it’s ALL AI generated. Thus I can make roughly $100k on ad impressions and further convince people that climate change is a hoax.
If your company is nationwide and has offices all over the country and you work on a distributed team where some people are on the west coast, some are central, and some are on the east coast. In this such event, none of your teammates will physically be able to tell if you are in the office. That’s what this feature is for.
So we can all continue to work from home, from a prescribed office of our employers choosing.

These articles (which have now been pushed for months) detail how service delivery has “tanked” during the 4 years of working from home. They cite the time when passport applications were overwhelmed right when travel restrictions were being lifted during the pandemic and the long wait times. It’s not very honest.
To be fair, they got sold out by their leaders, their unions, and the entire general public. Every day a new article gets published in some big Canadian newspaper about how it’s a good thing that public servants are forced back into the office.
They won’t accept it because it’s out of the package and has been used for some months.
I bought a 13600k a few months ago. Applied all the microcode patches but I think the processor is toast. If I’m able to boot up most programs just crash. Steam loads once out of every 10 times I try and open it. Forget games.
I spent $400+ CAD on this processor less than 6 months ago. It’s unusable now. I will never ever purchase an intel processor again, even if they fix this and this never happens again. I was sold a defective product and I have no recourse to get my money back.
I have an unusable computer.

My buddy worked for Ubisoft Montreal. They paid him $48k CAD/year as an experienced developer. Only 2 weeks of PTO for the whole year (including sick leave). 60+ hour weeks. Required a whole CS degree.

In Canada and New Zealand you can literally buy citizenship. You just need the funds. It’s a real and legitimate process.
I was seriously hyped for it and waited years until I had a good gaming rig and then when I downloaded it I couldn’t even get past the loading screen. Unable to establish connection to Microsoft servers. I ended up buying Xplane 12 and Aerofly FS4 instead.
I wonder if it’s going to take several hours to download all the world content before allowing you into the menu screen like MSFS2020 does.
I wonder if they’ll insist on using MS servers for the content and will be kept at MS server caps at 5MBPS, meaning that it will take 20+ hours of downloading before you can even play, pulling you outside of the 2 hour Steam return window.

I’ve had those similar issues with Wayland on previous distros as well. I think Bazzite was the first distro so far for me that worked fully out of the box with Wayland.
In a previous generation, governments would go after this blatant anti competitive behaviour.
