Tech enthusiast: a little privacy breach is okay, as a treat for the headphones I already paid them money for. It’s not their fault their app wants to know these things. It’s mostly all good.

Side story: I forgot my good earbuds at home one day and decided I didn’t want to hear tools all day, so I bought a new pair at the store I was working at that day. 2 minutes later I’m at the counter again to return them because they wanted me to download an app and wouldn’t pair without it. Bought a $1 pack of earplugs instead.

Fun fact! To make a super duper effective cleaning solution, all you have to do is mix ammonia and bleach! Make sure you do it in a small enclosed, dark room in order to ensure the solution binds together properly.

It’s a neat game. I’ve put a couple dozen hours into a few villages over the last few months. There’s still a lot to improve on, but based on the little I’ve learned about the developer this seems like more of a passion project than a money maker.

I’m not saying valve or Gabe had some kind of foresight or wisdom, I still think it was a gamble. It just happens to be a gamble that worked.

My 4 month old laptop has hdmi on the back, ethernet on the left, four usb 3.whatever slots with two on each side, two USB c slots on the right side, and a microsd slot.

I think it even has a 3.5mm headset jack but I’d have to get out of bed to check. I don’t have any peripherals that use 3.5mm anymore though so it’s just a nice little bonus.

I mean… It was a gamble. Internet was still young. Speeds weren’t keeping up with game sizes outside a few major cities. I was mailed a few large files because it was quicker than downloading them. Not to mention the desire for physical copies over a digital thing you can lose with a bad hard drive was at an all time high.

Then people realized the internet wasn’t just nerd shit, ISPs slowly ramped up their DL speeds and suddenly the thing people mocked for not being feasible is doing well because of how convenient it became.

Want more realistic everything? Mods for that.

Want to make a jumbo jet that can also travel to Ike?there’s Mods for that.

Want everything to be reskinned to look different? You better BELIEVE there’s mods for that.

And the best part is if you own ksp1 (or at least if you have it on your computer to play, wink wink) it’s free! No need to pay for a full game that’s just been modified slightly, now you just slightly modify it yourself. (or mod it so heavily that startup takes 20 minutes and if you don’t use the part search function you’ll be scrolling for hours)
